Fees and Bursaries
Estimated tuition fees for the Indigo programme are as shown, for EU and non-EU students entering the programme in 2009-10. These fees cover costs of tuition at Trinity College Dublin only. Students taking modules at other institutions (e.g. Columbia University) may be required to pay a supplementary fee. Fees for the academic year 2009-10 are confirmed, while those for subsequent years are estimates based on the usual annual escalation. All students are required to register at TCD for years 1 and 4 at minimum. Students who elect to register at an African university during years 2 and 3 will pay the applicable fee at that institution during those years.
In addition to the tuition fee, prospective students must also ensure they have sufficient funds for living expenses and other costs while studying, including international travel, equipment and other incidental expenses. For details on potential overall costs please speak to the programme coordinator.
Irish Aid has generously funded a number of studentships for African students, which have now been allocated. Unfortunately, no other bursaries are available through Indigo or the Centre for Global Health at this time.
